That is not a nut she is tightening, that is a turnbuckle.

It is bad practice to have an open eye on a load - but then again, while the upper eye was closed, it was attached to a welded hook on rebar and the bottom was held in place with three bolts in square tubing, so this was clearly a marketing video - as evidenced by her white "safety" crocs.
