Timber Jack
This tool is not an invention, but a home made cheap version of a $90+ Timber Jack used for cutting fire wood.
very handy. Made of 1.5 inch pipe, 1/8 inch steel, and in my case a sapling tree for the handle. I doubled the steel for the hook.
I have lifted 14 inch trees for cutting.
