    It's a homage/challenge to Hand Tool Rescue, who sells, well, wrench sized versions of this wrench, based on an 1879 patent https://www.handtoolrescue.com/

    I have the mini and the medium wrenches and they are surprisingly useable. Better grip than any Crescent wrench for sure.
