That ended pretty much as expected. Anyone who has ever flown a small plane with tricycle landing gear knows you never try an land on the single wheel. always the wing or big wheels first, nose or tail wheel it doesn't matter.
This is also why real gyrocopters have rudders...so they can , you know , steer.
