Not for shop use (picks up sharp swarf) but a towel you could throw at the refrigerator after wiping your hands would be handy. Retrieving it from the washing machine or dryer might be problematic.
A small magnetic clip with rubbery covering to protect finishes would be handy and would solve the washing machine problem.
