Tractor-trailer pushed off bridge - video
-
WOW, that was shocking. I fear the driver over reacted to that car turning into him.
-
You can see a truck going left bound on the roadway beneath. I hope there was nobody going right bound!
-
Anyone else notice the glitch right at about the point the car seems to have hit the truck?
-
That is one heck of a Mini Cooper!
-
It appears the road is pretty slick, perhaps ice. The car is well out of control by the time it contacts the truck .

Traffic cams have an auto run timed sequence to them they will take periodic stills when there is no traffic movement but run continuously when there is movement these stills will snapshot even while the cam is in video record mode.

That trucker would be very lucky to survive that one.
And, what did he land on? More traffic?

Since the trailer would have hit the ground first it would be very possible that the driver could have survived if the distance weren't too great and his rig didn't tumble further down the mountain side or the cab of his rig wasn't struck by another vehicle if it had wound up in traffic

If this is somewhere in the Czech Republic (as the title would indicate) the truck would be left drive so the side of the truck that gets demolished when it hits the guard rail would be opposite the driver, however when it drops it appears the left side of the cab is heading toward the ground so it would hit first. Either way a side impact of that magnitude at the bottom of the drop would probably do severe damage to the spine at the very least. Hoping for the best, fearing the worst though.

lol haven't heard that in years.

Carrying liquids in a tanker is difficult because if your cargo is suddenly put in motion its momentum takes over the driving.

especially if the tanker is only half full

Amazing that small car could push that big truck around.

I think the issue was the truck driver tried to avoid collision. Then corrected, but the car hit the front left tire. This screwed the entire physics of the situation. Especially already being in a turn of the road.
