I can't help thinking about curling when I see the handle on the top of the barrel slowly rotating like the handle on a stone. The idea of the barrel being swept into position makes it even worse.
thanks cmarlow, now I am picture maybe five trucks on a side trying to get a cone into a goal.
Maybe a whacker so one could send them flying also.

Somebody needs to put that bear on the payroll. He probably walks past it everyday and noticed something was wrong with it
I was away on a job and a bear spent quite a bit of time in my yard. I caught him on security camera pushing over, then straightening my lamp post.

That is the momma bear. Her den is down slope from the curve. She keeps the cone there to keep us humans from running off the road and messing up her entrance.

Here in Missouri, cones are often picked up while backing. I believe it's due to terrain; lessening drivers veer into unseen construction.

With programs to level off employment, this state's road department is the ultimate in progressive hiring measures. I'll bet the real challenge is training to lean on a shovel....
