    At the beginning she had gotten out of her car and moved 1 barricade. I don't understand why she didn't have enough sense to move the 1 in front of her car instead.
    Then after the workman moved the second barricade she just sat there. Maybe after backing up, she got confused or something.
    Watching the video in slow motion and on full screen, had she not backed up in the first place the train might have just missed her anyway.

    You can hear the engine revving up but the car didn't move - I suspect she got confused and put the car in neutral instead of drive?

    Very possibly. also, she could have been in a state of panic. Rational thought goes out the window when panic is involved.
