Only in America to the truckers feel their tractors have to be larger than the trailers they are pulling . those cab over tractors pulling probably have between 400 and 500 hp. but could be as small as 350 hp. with extra deep reduction low geared transmissions, and the rear ends are planetary drive, common in European transport trucks. most likely there will be an equal number of pusher tractors in the rear. The weight blocks we call them Mafia blocks are sized just large enough to allow full tractive force to be delivered.
