    But they forgot Silver Maple, I had to cut down one that was well over 150 ft tall and still growing, it had a 5.5 ft diameter base (the base is still standing until I figure out how to cut it down to slab it out for a table). I have seen photos of one's over 175 ft tall with 7 ft. diameter bases.
    I have also seen a Douglas Fir in Tacoma's Peninsula Park over 300 ft tall it had have been at least 15 ft at the base.
