Trick for backing up with broken reverse gear - GIF

Trick for backing up with broken reverse gear. Kinda clever I guess. Not sure if I would let my kid put his head out of the window to watch.

I did a transaxle change in my '66 type 1 and took it off-roading in a dry riverbed that had some grading going on. Decided to drive it over a three foot pile of dirt into which it buried the nose. When I tried to back out, I discovered my my shifter wasn`t adjusted correctly for reverse. Took me about an hour to dig the pile down with an entrenching shovel, lol.

Well, they just put it in reverse to go forward, oops no reverse. Just joking, looks like they running it in the door so all they would have to
do is open the door to release it. The problem I would see is if you have to turn while backing up, that thing would walk out from under the
    tire then.
