Truck ramp supports
I have a full set of Sturdy-lite truck ramps for the aluminum step-deck trailer. which are normally used to create a gentle enough slope to drive onto the trailer for this you usually only need a bottom and a second section and a pair of supports. the Ramps hook on the back of the trailer then to the support then the bottom section is attached to that. But the6y make a great heavy duty service rack for working under a truck. The only thing was I only had a single pair of supports. and could not connect a second pair of ramp extensions unless I used a lot of blocks for cribbing.
I decided to make more supports for now I made only 1 pair but have all of the parts cut and drilled for a second set this will remove the need for the cribbing.
here are the supports made out of a length of 4" C channel and pieces salvaged from a large steel reel.

Now that I have the supports allowing me to connect 2 pairs of ramp extensions together as shown in the previous post with the pickup fully parked level on the ramps making it an elevated work platform. I needed to carry the system to another level of usefulness. since it is as stable as being flat on the floor, I placed an 8 inch wide flange beam across the rack and raised the front end of the pickup and blocked it up so I could work on the front end, making it the perfect height to rework the entire front suspension
