they needed a micro brake lock for locking the brakes on the front and allowing the rears to turn.
Holding your foot on the brake to hold the vehicle in place quit being practical once disk brakes became standard on all 4 wheels, with drum brakes in the rear at least those could be backed off or would slip and heat up loosing their effectiveness
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

What a bunch of dick heads. Neither the driver or the idiot filming could tell he was melting the clutch and not the rear wheels. If the bloke holding the camera had any idea about cars he would of realised what was happening as soon as he got around the other side of the car and saw that neither wheel was turning or smelled the smoke. A burning clutch stinks so bad and is a completely different than tire smoke. He’ll never forget that smell now. So what does it cost for a new clutch and flywheel plus fitting. I’ll bet it’s a sh*t load more than $600 worth of tires. Then he has to hope he didn’t cook the rear main seal or the input shaft seal on the gearbox. And, to top it off, we’ll post it on the internet so we can show everyone else how retarded we are.

"Just too funny or too stupid" I'm gonna go with too stupid on that one. I cringed watching these morons cook the drive train on that beautiful C6 ZO6.

You can't be too cautious when choosing your buddies, as McArthur Wheeler found out after this* robbery:

Trying to burn tires off of a Corvette-mcarthur-wheeler.jpg

Which, amongst a few other implications for him, also led to this famous psychological hypothesis:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunnin...3Kruger_effect

As we're all suffering from this effect, our only saviours seem to be competent, critical and loyal friends.

That's why I stick around here, and pitch in when I (mistakenly?) feel I can contribute.
