What makes it "tactical"?
Does it have full auto dotting of i's?
Do refills come already belt-loaded?
Can it penetrate your enemy's clothing and write nasty comments on his skin?
I made a brass sleeve for a mechanical shop pencil. Do I need to register it with the ATF?
I think the more appropriate name would be tact-cool.
Just like so many other ordinary things these days which get labeled as assault because someone installs black plastic furniture on them and hangs a varied assortment of "got to have these" mostly un needed gadgets on them.
The pen is hardened and you could call it armored since it would be nearly indestructible under normal circumstances though. But I would probably mistake it for a center punch and that would end it
Great looking Pen

If the tip of the pen would be shaped to little similar than its the
Jagdkommando knife.. then it could be more tactical when it can be used for stabbing. Of course you can stab whatever sharp object tought...
But those grooves on the tip helps it to penetrate objects, without need to be sharpened so that it couldn't be used as a pen.
Beautifull pen anyway!

For me, "Workshop proof pen" would sell better, one that doesn't matter even if you drop a hammer on it or something like that. That pen looks that it would last even in my use. :)
Slide it down a barrel on top of a 100 grains of black powder might make it tactical?
In any case, I would jot down notes and numbers with it.:)
I thought it had to be black anodized to be considered tactical.
In all seriousness, it's a nice looking pen. But Marv's comments made me smile.
Basically an enhanced Kubotan 'compliance' device, a kubotan is legal in some countries not others, by adding a pen insert it becomes a pen and it's still a kubotan, depending on circumstances it may be considered a disguised weapon with all the legal issues that go with it, depending on the countries laws.
Great looking pen, one question, was this pen made out of aluminum or stainless steel?
Whatever you used to make it, it sure looks great. This is my next project.
