Nelson, our Great Dane had physical therapy on an underwater treadmill after he had Femoral Head Removal surgery at age 3. He loved being at the clinic, he lived the therapist, he loved the clinic's resident cat, and he loved being in the water. The only thing he didn't love was walking on that leg. It took a couple of months, but that treadmill made all the difference.

That's a strange concept to me. Where I live there are just lakes everywhere. I own a private fresh water lake right off of my kitchen. Completely on my land. I have effectively infinity water, and I'm very wasteful with it. Not filling that little tank because of a lack of water is just weird to think about. Are there water shortages in the UK?

There are seasonal restrictions. There is quite a lot of wastage, a fairly significant amount by households, we have just started paying by meter, so I was thinking that every time the equipment is used, then that’s several bath tubs, unless it’s circulated. I had forgotten therapy. Horses can be treated with water, too. Whether it’s available for dogs? Can’t tell you, but would be damned expensive.
