    Looks like they are 'roll forming' the roof iron, while it's up in the air.

    That would sure be a big money saver, instead of 'roll forming' it elsewhere in a factory and then transporting it to site.

    You are correct the roof will be standing seam with clips bolted to the purlins and sealed between each roofing seam. Once a crimp sealed standing seam roof is installed you had better hope you started out straight and square because the only way to remove it is to cut it loose. The advantage of using standing seam is the panels can be made as long as needed, no need to have overlap connections. even if the panels happen to be 100s of feet long. the crimped seams mean no wind can raise the lap joints
