Vacuum pump - video

This is a nice idea and easy to use. I would look for a miniature cheap check valve and place it underneath the cap. (bike valve?) If your kitchen sink permits remember the water injection pump of your school days. Allows a vacuum of about 25mbar (68°F); that means: 97.5% of the air is gone.
