Vernier to Digital height gauge.

Hi Tony I am confused by the photo which shows the digital read out on the left side of the venier gauge? I would have thought it would be on the right hand side, could you clarify this?

I just had a thought, maybe you have mistaken what I did. To make it perfectly clear - I have not replaced the original vertical slide of the vernier height gauge with the digital one. I have added the digital slide to it. So I have two separate slides, one a vernier and one digital. It is the original vernier slide which supports the slider and stylus as it has always done, the digital part just hitches a ride.
