Very first attempt at Mig welding : A T allen Key

Hi,
I have just purchased a new MIG (no gas) welder, and I have just tried it for the very first time.

And with my first two centimeters of MIG welded joint, I made a new tool :

I just took a couple of these redundant Allen keys often delivered with various purchased things to be mounted by the user, and welded them together in a T shape. I then cut the upper one, at the elbow.
Here it is, a strong T handle, keeping the possibility to use the three hex tips !

I've never been a good welder, I used to "arc" weld with an inverter, but for a first attempt, that's not so bad.
I think it is here that I saw for the first time someone using a MIG welder and It seemed so easy that I wanted to try.
I ended up finding this no gas setup which works pretty well for a small use like what I need.
The advantages are really numerous :
- Much easier to weld than arc welding
- Joint much more clean
- More ready to use
- Setup quick and easy (for that model)

So, I 'm quite happy with this new welder, so far ...

Could anyone tell me why it says only steel on the pack ? The wire is 0.9, why could'nt I weld, even with a reduced capacity some stainless steel or aluminium ?
Can I also weld cast-iron with it ?

well done , on your first time , as for alloy you need an AC welder ...you have a DC welder , also you need a shielding gas of argon for alloy , ...
