Too bad about that Harvard. The landing looked perectly salvageable to me (thousands of hours in taildragger landings). Why emerg landing? Why did gear collapse? I'm guessing unavoidable obstacle ahead offscreen. If rollout stable, left wing (and its fuel tank) should easily clear the concrete barrier. Maybe rollout not so stable? There but 'for the grace of god' blah blah...

Why this trainer was "nazified"?
For movie or airshow "dogfights" etc.(that is legit purpose IMHO) or just owner sheer stupidity?
If former, then they did really nice job - Texan makes much better butcherbird than zero ;)

Anywhere else in the country except for California this happened, with Nazi markings he might have been shot-down!
