Note outside jaw at opposite end. Dial Micrometer type not common as barrel micrometer style, but some of those incorporate an indicator also. But, essentially no different than a "Bench Mic". Either way, bench mics normally are standard size spindle and anvil, watchmaker/ instrumentmaker reduced diameter as shown above post *1.
