Years ago my wife and I went to what had been a mineral bottling spring. After hiking around the area we rested at the spring itself, it now bubbled up in the middle of a nice covered area with a cement floor. The water then ran down a channel in the cement, down the bank of a creek and away.
A lady drove up in a big camper and came over carrying a big bottle. "Where's the spring water?" I stopped sipping from my cup of fresh water and pointed to the bubbling water behind her, with a dog lapping up some.
"isn't there a faucet or something?"
Sorry, that's it.
"Eeww, it's coming out of the GROUND!"
What did she expect a vending machine with a slot for a credit card, or a screen to scan her phone?Quote:
