Welder’s spats
Attachment 49623
Attachment 49624
I go a nasty burn a fortnight ago when a droplet of steel landed inside my boot. It has not closed over yet.
To prevent it happening again, I took some scrap leather, salvaged from an armchair, and cut some slits so I could get it over my ankles.
Probably the least sophisticated tool ever posted on the forum.

Philip,
Been there, done that. Nobody’s ever seen me dance like when I got some hot slag in my shoe!
