What Is It? (#2)
Hints: I believe this was made in the mid-1970's. It was most likely used by the military. Got it at a hamfest around 1985. I called the company and they sent me instructions. Told me it cost a lot.

Indian Head, Maryland Called Naval Support Facility Indian Head. The facility's main activity is the Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC/IH). Advanced research in energetic systems takes place at NSWC/IH. NSWC/IH absorbed the function of the closed Naval Ordnance Laboratory, formerly in White Oak.

Well that is certainly cool. I always wondered how laser power was measured. It's just a thermopile in an insulated box. Very cool. I have a stack of peltier elements I'm not using. I wonder bet I could repurpose them into a laser power meter.
