I’ve heard of people using steel balls to fix dented headers.
The balls are known as mandrels, this tooling is used in various configurations for pipe and tube forming throughout the metal working industry.
I got some steel balls to open up some SS tubing I'm using to make a set of headers for my car...if I ever get around tuit.
I saw similar tools used to expand a squished tuba part. It might have been in another post in this forum?
I always wanted a tuba squished by a steam roller hanging on my wall.
