The Sahm Splicer sinks some serious amps, so you'd better check your mains fuse before ordering one for your shop:
400VAC in only, and 1, 2 or 3 V out...
The middle 1225 needs a 85 Amp fuse: Pulls 36 kW in, and puts out max 26 kVa*, which means 8 667 Amps @ 3 volts...
Its bigger, meaner brother would then take the max 160 amps input and crank out max 20 kAmps @ 3 V out
(and 60 kA @ one volt - given that the transformer & windings stand up w/o melting or core saturation).
*The rest 10 kW goes up in heat and hum from the transformer's iron-copper losses. No free lunch here either.
