I was trying to figure out what she was doing with the dance at the beginning possibly trying to get the door closed.
But the big question is why was the vehicle going through the car wash backwards?
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I can see the confusion Frank. It appears the gantry was moving back to the front of the car after buffing the rear.

I pulled up behind someone in a carwash like this one time and wondered why the vehicle looked strange... Then I realized the rear hatch was up. It seemed to take a few moments for the driver to figure what was happening but they stayed put the whole time as the brushes spun and water sprayed. I took a short video but it's pretty boring.

My buddy just identified the girl. He was mumbling a bit but I think he said Billy Sitch.

Probably they were trying to remove the vehicle before serious damage was done to their machine or the occupants were injured. If the people in the car were not following instructions while entering the washer, so who knows what further mischief they could have caused further inside. They probably needed to be ejected ASAP.

You bring up an interesting observation. After I thought about it, my wife's car has a push-activated latch where you simply press/pull upward then the door starts rising with help from the gas shocks. Its conceivable that the horizontally spinning roof-cleaning brush could activate this(?). Do you think the hatch was open before the car entered or could the brush have accidentally tripped the latch?
