    Wood V blocks

I made a pair of ultra high pression wood V blocks this afternoon.
Just kidding, I made a pair of wood V blocks so I could strap down another hydraulic cylinder for resealing

Absolutely. My friend who keeps hauling in all of these trailers for me to refurbish often hauls in anywhere from 20 to 50 8ft 2x4s at a time that this one company uses as their shipping dunnage by nailing 4 to 5 of them in a stack. they are otherwise always new boards and once the customer unloads the items they don't want them
so he hauls them to me sometimes he will haul in a dozen or so 3x6s or 6x6s sometimes oak 4x4s sometimes 8x8 blocks about 3 ft long I dry store everything out of the sun and out of the weather stacked with furring strips and banded in bundles. I never know when I will need a good straight piece of wood. So why would I drive 150 mile round trip to a box store and pay 3 prices for something when I get them for free.
I can always take a propane weed burner to them then spray them down with used motor oil or diesel let it soak in then wipe them off and Wala" treated lumber that will last for years
Never try to tell me it can't be done
