Awesome timing. The very moment the link was emailed to me, I was arguing to an architecture professor that we could and should easily fabricate a small DIY crane like this to help offload and erect house sections we fabbed on the school's FRAMECAD machine.

I'd like to see a stop to keep the trolley from coming of the arm.

That was nicely done! But I agree it needs some sort of trolley stop. And it's too bad he didn't make it long enough to reach his lathe. It would be perfect for mounting/unmounting that great, big chuck he has.
I saw this on the YouTube and while it is nicely executed I wondered about the cut down skateboard wheels, Probably strong enough at 143 kg rated static load per wheel bearing,(608).
I also feel that his load limit is a bit on the optimistic side.
