Workshop smoke alarm
I weld, in the workshop, forge, solder & heat stuff. The last smoke alarm wouldn't play nicely so I wacked it off the ceiling and put it outside on the window ledge. That was 8 years ago. I just found it. Battery was dead.

The alarm can be deactivated, while hot working, a blinking blue LED indicates the alarms' state (OFF), when you switch it back on, the alarm activates and the LED no longer flashes. This is a really easy electronics project for young players looking to get started in electronics.

I thought a seal image (not the mammal or musician) would be cool too, with the same kind of message as the banner, maybe downloadable from homemadetools, with html code, for off-siters to put on their own sites...
