There doesn't seem to be any way to train the gun in azimuth, only elevation. How was that handled?

They would lay a switch sidling in the direction of the town they wanted to bombard . There might also be a curve laid in to the rail so they cold adjust the direction slightly byt moving the gun forward or back A 14" gun would be similar to that of a main gun on a battle ship so the target could be of some distance away by moving a few moments of a degree they projectile could strike a target to either side of a single target
