WW2 Bob Semple tank - photo

The Bob Semple tank was a light tank built by New Zealand's Ministry of Works during WW2. Due to the scarcity of raw materials, the tanks were built by fitting corrugated steel sheets on Caterpillar crawler tractors. The tanks were never put into mass production nor used in combat.

Actually, if one looks closer, the "corrugated iron" is really lengths of heavy angle iron.
