I see that you didn't change the motor, just ripped the package apart. What's the difference between an air compressor and an air pump? If you were going to buy, why not just buy a smaller air compressor?
Not trying to flame, just don't understand any reasoning behind turning and air compressor into an "air pump"

Why would you buy an air compressor for $10.00, take it apart, add 12 DC motor $$ and make an air compressor and call it an air pump?
Just buy a 12 volt air compressor for $16.00. Size 3.5 x 8 x 6.9. Includes pressure gauge. Probably be a little smaller if you wanted to take the case off. Might save a couple of cubic inches.
