DESCRIPTION:
Homemade benchtop gas generator for oxygen, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide gases. Based on Petrus Jacobus Kipp's design. Constructed out of PVC pipes and couplings, and featuring a radial design on the lower coupling. A plastic screen separates the reaction chamber from the reagent chamber. Gases generated by the reactions exit through the hose barb.

Thanks for the comment, Old Fool. If someone does go ahead and build this gas generator, he/she would have been forewarned.

This one scares the hell out of me.
No it is not the hydrogen gas production mentioned, it is the H2S - hydrogen sulfide.
Hydrogen sulfide - H2S is a huge health risk, as first you smell it, but soon you can't smell it and are unaware of its presence. Even low levels are pose a large health risk. @ Higher levels death may occur.
Please be fully aware of any chemical reactions you may initiate may and can kill you.
