DESCRIPTION:
Homemade mainshaft nut socket for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Adapted from a standard 1-7/8" socket by cutting it in half and welding a length of black pipe between the sections.

I grind off the internal chamfer on the nut end to get full nut engagement. That chamfer is only to center the broach which cuts the flats during production and sprocket nuts are very shallow. Do that for fork cap nuts too.
