Homemade Mini-Lathe Steady Rest

DESCRIPTION:
Homemade modification of a Real Bull steady rest with new bearings and a clamping plate featuring a quick-lock lever. Ball bearings salvaged from an old wood router bit. M3 socket head cap screws secure the bearings to the fingers. Quick-lock clamping plate machined from round stock. Rotating the collar and the lever 90 degrees CW locks the steady to the lathe bed.
