I have looked at the pictures of the no-weld grinder and it looks to me to be a really nice rig. I would however like to see some dimensions and more of the plan to actually make one or a reference to the place where you found the plans. But, it really looks like a fine piece of equipment and a great addition to your shop.

No weld! It's rare to find something like this these days. I wonder if there's any play after prolonged use.
