i pre-clean with scrubbing bubbles on most any part ,and dawn dish washing detergent to wash circulate in parts washer. heavily soiled items are pressure washed with hot water from the house supply. aquarium air pump for "ultra sonic" cleaning of carbs in the parts washer.
