DESCRIPTION:
Homemade dynamometer designed for shock absorber testing. Constructed from a unistrut frame, an inexpensive load cell, and measurement circuitry incorporating two ICs. Requires Labview and MATLAB for data processing.

As homemade tools go, this is pretty advanced. Compare what this cost though to the commercial rigs out there and this is pretty cheap and effective.
