I say WOW! to the ingenuity and thought given toward safety...I do wonder if the additional complexity and more moving parts are really worth it.  Maybe I didn't read carefully enough, but the idea of cutting multiple short pieces at once only works well if they are similar (identical) thickness.  Comments anyone?
