Homemade tailstock die holder machined from cold rolled steel. Shank taper is MT2.

Hi,
Don't take that as a critical, but just a security question, if you mount the lever on a bigger round part separate from the body, and maintained with a ball and a spring, you have a security if for example with brass your tool grip during the operation.
