DESCRIPTION:
Homemade tong form intended to facilitate production of tong components utilizing a power hammer. Accommodates 5/8" - 3/4" round or square bars.

Nice, may have to build something like that once I get my treadle hammer built. My power hammer dies are too small for something that size. Sure would be a time saver vs. doing it by hand on the anvil.

I always thought of tongs being formed by hammering away on a piece of molten iron. Using a power hammer and this fixture kinda modernizes things.
