DESCRIPTION:
Homemade leather-faced mallet fabricated from cherry and alder. Leather was attached with contact cement and serves to protect workpieces from damage. Handle design was friction-burned with guitar string.

Nice and heavy enough, I suppose. What I like is the leather facing, which will prevent marring of the workpieces.
