Homemade workshop lift table adjustable over a range of heights from a few inches to over 5'. Operated by means of a 1/2 HP drill turning an ACME threaded rod via a socket attachment.

I really have a hard time visualizing the workings before it comes together. What I should do is make one and resolve the issue. Need to find the time someplace.
