    Hand Screw Clamps

I needed some clamps able to clamp irregular shapes so I made these. This type of clamp requires both right and left hand threads. The most difficult part of the project was tapping and dieing (is this a word?) the left hand threads. I have seen other small clamps being made on youtube but they get around using left hand threads by using nuts or copying the machinists clamp.

Fantastic! I originally thought that you had full size clamps there but then did a double take and noticed that they are in the palm of your hand. Well done.

It would be nice to get a little bit more info. What did you do for the tap and dies? Did you buy them, make them or turn the thread on a lathe? It is a very beautiful job you did on them and I can see how handy they might be.

Thank you all for your very kind comments.

In response to ncollar's question, I purchased the right and left hand taps and dies from www.victornet.com/‎.

    Cheers, Guy
