Making a Quick Yet Rugged Project Box
After I build an electronics project, I never have an enclosure that is a good fit. My solution is to keep extruded aluminum channel on hand and bend up the ends as needed. The result is a very solid box that perfectly fits every time. The cost is about $0.30 an inch which is substantially less than cast aluminum enclosures.
