Homemade Cord Curling

DESCRIPTION:
Homemade cord curling utilizing a mandrel and heat gun. Cord is wrapped around a metal tube and connectors are wrapped in aluminum foil to protect from damage. Cord is heated for ten minutes and cold-quenched in water.

There is a good idea in here, but I have no time for this.

I like the idea, though I wonder if that heat cycling won't cause the insulation to become brittle.
