Rick, very clever. I can sympathize with you mucking around with some irrigation lines. I live in the Mojave Desert area, so I have the same ol' thing; easy to dig and to inspect, but hard to get to. The work mostly involves replacing damaged "soft" pipe with new length instead of "hard" pipe. Could your tool design be used to pull the "soft" pipe out of the barb connector? The old "soft" pipe would be damaged, but the connectors can be reused. Again, this is a clever design. ---Joe
