    [Kitchen tools] Wooden spoons

    This one was made several years ago now, it's been under daily use and it is still alive.
    It's amazing how beech wood supports easily to be water soaked and heated day after day.





    Here the wood was coated with olive oil, but it lasted only the time for the photo...

    Forgot to say : was turned from an axe handle, you know, the end were it is flattened

    Great looking spoon! How did you cut the scoop of the spoon? That looks pretty tricky to hand carve.
