16th century Henry VIII field armor - photo

16th century Henry VIII field armor. Worn by the king at the siege of Boulogne in 1544. The ornamentation indicates Italian origin. Rumored to be studied by NASA for the design of astronauts' gloves.

Henry VIII, born 1491. Battle of Boulogne, 1544. Artist renditions show him rather rotund. Don't picture him fitting in this one, post *1, at ~53 years of age.
